Expanding to Three Locations more to come
Year eight, we had over 60 youth from the area attend the 8th Annual Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp. We did some restructuring and was able to bring in 4 guest Judo instructors and 3 local martial arts clubs to share there knowledge. Additionally, we had a field trip to Lake Tobias and focused on arts and crafts for our afternoon activities.

Year seven, we had over 50 youth from the area attend the 7th Annual Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp. This year we had a BJJ guest instructor and Colton Brown a 2 time olympic judo team member and USA Judo Coach share his knowledge with our students. of the Judo Camp

Year six, we had over 50 youth from the area attend the 6th Annual Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp. This year we had to refocus and rebuild due to the gap from the pandemic. However, we were able to have our annual cookout and provide educational activities. We also had a guest Karate instructor Judo instructors.

Year five, we had over 30 youth from the area attend the 5th Annual Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp. We focused on Health Education, College Tour and visiting the Aquaponics labs. It is important to provide youth with different learning opportunities. Additionally, we had guest Kungfu and Judo instructors.

Year four, we had close to 60 youth ages 6-18 from the area attend the 4th Annual Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp. We focused on exposing youth to CPR, bicycle repair, and games and we had a guest instructor share his knowledge of BJJ ( Sensei Luis).

Year three, we had close to 60 youth ages 6-18 from the area attend the 3rd Annual Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp. We focused on career exploration, fitness and we have a guest instructor share his knowledge of Judo ( Sensei Stu).

Year two, we had close to 60 youth ages 6-18 from the area attend the 2nd Annual Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp. We focused on education and learning money management. Location: East Shore YMCA
Charles Cavrich Memorial Judo Camp was Born. Which Started phase 1 of SPCA Judo Foundation. During this camp, we connected with local health and fitness professionals to discuss and expose youth to fitness.

Developed a plan to relaunch the summer judo camp that gave youth in Harrisburg and surrounding areas chance to learn something new. In addition, students will be able to learn life skills to show that the values learned from Judo never stay on the mat, but continue off the mat and in every setting we face in life. Also, received approval from Sensei Cavrich Family to use his name for the camp.
Les Ford and Sensei Cavrich and his team of instructors. Started the first Community Judo Camp in South Central Pa. These camps helped me understand the impact exposing youth to martial arts can be.
